How to Measure Your Body
Bust or Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your bust or chest. Keep the tape level across your back and comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest point of your torso. Keep your body relaxed and avoid holding your breath.
Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
Inseam
Measure from the top of the inner leg to the desired hem length. For the most useful comparison, measure a similar pair of pants that fits you well.
How to Measure a Garment
- Length: Measure from the highest shoulder point to the hem for tops, or from the waistband to the hem for bottoms.
- Width: Lay the garment flat and measure straight across the chest, waist or hips as shown in the product size chart.
- Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the sleeve edge unless the product chart states otherwise.
- Rise: For bottoms, measure from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam.
